Driven by an insatiable passion for learning, sous chef Raquel Arreola began her culinary career when she was old enough to sit on the counter.

“My mom used to say ‘If you can read, you can cook,” says the 2015 graduate of Johnson & Wales University. Her early mastery of snickerdoodles and countertop kitchen experience led to a lifelong love of exploring culinary history and the traditions surrounding food.

She built her culinary resume in the kitchens of Fahrenheit, Mandolino’s Artisan Pizza and Stoke, among others. When she’s not busy in the kitchen, she likes reading, hanging with her dog Logan and enthusiastically sharing her knowledge of true crime and/or “Lord Of The Rings” trivia.
